About Our Invisalign Treatment

Our Invisalign treatment is personalized to your very own teeth and bite and will shift them into their ideal positions. While Invisalign provides an effective orthodontic treatment, the best part about it is that the aligners are virtually invisible – others won’t have any idea that you’re undergoing orthodontic treatment! This will offer one of the most discreet orthodontic treatments possible.

Since the aligners are removable, you’ll also be able to easily clean your teeth during orthodontic treatment without having to worry about brushing around any annoying wires and brackets. Additionally, you’ll be taking them out before you eat so you won’t have to avoid certain foods for fear of damaging your orthodontics.

There are virtually no age restrictions with Invisalign; younger patients can use our Invisalign Teen treatment, which is catered to adolescents. Regardless of age, Invisalign provides an excellent option for any patient who’s concerned with his or her appearance.

How to Clean Clear Aligners

What We Can Treat with Invisalign

As we’re renowned experts when it comes to using Invisalign, we correct many different malocclusions (bad bites) with the clear aligners. We’ll be able to provide treatments for an entire assortment of common problems that can include:

  • Severe spacing

  • Severe crowding

  • Anterior crossbites

  • Posterior crossbites

  • Overbites

  • Underbites

  • Open bites

The Invisalign Process

Despite the advanced technology of Invisalign, it’s actually a simple process for patients:

  • First, you’ll need to come in to visit your orthodontist to determine if Invisalign is right for you. Unfortunately, not all patients are suitable candidates for Invisalign.

  • If you’re a candidate, a treatment plan will be crafted for you by taking an impression of your teeth through digital x-rays.

  • By utilizing the latest advances in 3-D computer technology, Invisalign will then carefully translate this treatment plan into a series of precisely shaped aligners that are customized for you.

  • You’ll wear each set of aligners in a designated order for two weeks and for about 21 to 22 hours per day.

  • As you progress through wearing your aligners, you’ll notice your teeth gradually moving. You may also notice some slight tooth soreness for a day or two after wearing each new set of aligners. This is completely normal though and just a sign that the aligners are properly moving your teeth.

  • After you’ve completed wearing each set, you’ll find that your teeth have arrived at their intended positions and that you have a new, beautiful smile!
