Invisalign Clear Aligners

Invisalign In Erie & Corry, PA

Invisalign is a brand of clear plastic aligners that serves as an alternative to traditional braces used to straighten teeth, fix bad bites, and create perfect smiles. At Doleski & Wolford Orthodontics your chances of being an ideal candidate for treatment with Invisalign is very high due to the expertise and experience that Dr. Doleski & Dr. Wolford have gained. Our Doctors are licensed orthodontic specialists who have treated countless patients in Lawrence Park, Erie, Corry, and surrounding areas using Invisalign and other clear aligner products.

Invisalign Treatment

At our orthodontic practice, we correct more malocclusions (bad bites) using Invisalign than most orthodontists and dentists. We are true experts at correcting severe crowding, severe spacing/ gaps, anterior and posterior cross bites, over bites, open bites, and under bites. You name it and we’ve most likely provided a solution!

Each set of clear aligners is personalized to your set of teeth and progressively shifts them into the ideal position prescribed by your orthodontist. The virtually invisible aligners make them cosmetically desirable and the best part is that most people will have no idea that you are receiving orthodontic treatment. Each aligner is worn for about two weeks as long as you are compliant in wearing them for 21-22 hours a day.

How to Clean Clear AlignersThe comfortable, customized aligners are indeed removable. This allows you to eat, floss, and brush your teeth without having to worry about cleaning around cumbersome traditional braces. Invisalign also reduces the effects metal braces may have on your gums and supporting tissue in your mouth. In addition, there are virtually no age restrictions on Invisalign; Invisalign Teen is a great option for younger people who are more concerned with their appearance.

Cutting-Edge Technology Make It Possible

At your initial consultation, Dr. Doleski or Dr. Wolford can tell if Invisalign is right for you. He or she will craft a treatment plan, then take an impression of your teeth and digital x-rays. Using the latest advances in 3-D computer technology, Invisalign carefully translates the doctor’s instructions into a series of precisely shaped aligners. You will then wear each set of aligners for two weeks until you’ve achieved your intended result of a healthy smile. Another benefit of Invisalign over wire braces is that treatment time can be shorter, with less pain. You may experience slight tooth soreness for a day or two after starting each new stage. This is normal and is a sign that your Invisalign aligners are working properly. Any slight soreness should go away after a couple of days.
